Khaite

Uniting online and in-store journeys in luxury retail

Khaite is a luxury womenswear brand known for its polished yet wearable aesthetic, with both an online shop and four retail locations including a flagship store in NYC. They partnered with Domaine to enhance their ecommerce and in-store experiences while gaining a deeper understanding of their customers. We implemented custom backend features to streamline operations and unify the brand's storytelling, while improved partnerships with Khaite’s stockists, vendors, and fulfillment centers.

Introducing BOPIS

Domaine created a buy-online-pick-up-in-store (BOPIS) feature for Khaite’s product detail page (PDP) and checkout, ensuring it aligned with the brand’s high-end aesthetic. The feature included store selection and product availability, with custom functionality to remain hidden from non-US customers. Alpaca and Flow were used to manage logistics across multiple fulfillment centers.

New opportunities for customer intel

Domaine introduced an appointment-booking form and a tool for tracking foot traffic and collecting customer emails. These features, combined with BOPIS, strengthen Khaite’s ability to gather customer data and foster stronger relationships with their clientele.

In-Store Inventory Reservation

Khaite needed a system to ensure a level of in-store inventory to merchandise their curated brick-and-mortar locations. Domaine developed a solution allowing Khaite to set a ‘sell until’ number for each product at each store, preventing online purchases from depleting in-store stock. This setting is easily adjustable and applies to inventory across all locations.
