Revolutionizing Activewear with a Smooth Migration to Shopify

Bandier partnered with Domaine to replatform its ecommerce website from Magento to Shopify, and integrate an enterprise-level suite of technology partners. Following the successful launch, the brand engaged Domaine to continue to optimize the design and back-end development in an ongoing retainer capacity.

Prolonging campaign lifecycle & focusing on mobile-first

We designed and developed a page with content and product served from their personalization partner based on purchase behavior and cohort. Meanwhile, we continue to focus on the mobile customer with a clean, straightforward design approach.

Reinventing kits on Shopify

We leaned into Bandier’s strength in fashion and merchandising, giving them tools to guide customers through their deep catalog. Completely managed within the Shopify admin, we built our own kit solution based on native Shopify functionality, and has been an enormous revenue driver for Bandier, earning its own category in their top navigation.

Franchise product detail page

Bandier doesn’t make a big deal about their owned-brands, however when a customer arrives to an owned-brand PDP, the full line is available through visual “chips” that we designed.  This helps illustrate the full franchize behind key products. We call this the “super-charged PDP,” which we continue to extend across many core products.

Franchise landing page

We supported Bandier’s #1 Selling legging through a rich landing page experience, communicating the full range of silhouettes, our franchise-chip iconography, videos and social content.

Bandier Sneaker Shop

Sneaker shop

Rather than simply promoting the sneaker category on the homepage, we created a cool little ‘Sneaker Shop’ unit, like a sneaker-wall you’d find in a physical store. This fully merchandisable feature includes a full grid of product which the customer can toggle between performance and fashion - the two cornerstones of the brand itself.

Visual collections page filter

We took two approaches to a visual filter solution above the PLP. One approach uses product photography, the other uses icon/illustrations that we’ve begun using for franchises & supercharged PDPs.

Results

Bandier's replatforming to Shopify, coupled with custom tools like the Kit product and “Super Charged PDP,” has significantly boosted revenue and enhanced the shopping experience. The mobile-first design and innovative features, such as the Sneaker Shop, have driven increased customer engagement and strengthened Bandier’s fashion-forward brand identity.
