Improving design & UX to help a modern jewelry brand shine
Gorjana approached Domaine Studio for a website redesign. The brand wanted to focus on enhancing user experience through a streamlined checkout with an automated customer returns portal, as well as improved online customer service. The resulting ecommerce website represents the brand through both design and functionality- it is sleek and modern, yet timeless and versatile.
We took Gorjana through a full design, build, and launch, meeting stringent timelines to launch the site for the new year. We built on Shopify’s native features in addition to a few of our own, adding a unique touch to an entirely custom front-end theme.
Gorjana’s online store is classic Shopify with a couple of twists. First, we developed a custom app that lets users customize their jewelry in real-time, and allows Gorjana to manage these custom products seamlessly and efficiently. Then we integrated a wholesale store for third party retailers to log in and keep their shelves full of Gorjana inventory.
The redesign of Gorjana’s website resulted in a sleek, modern ecommerce experience that reflects the brand's aesthetic while improving functionality. Streamlining the checkout process, adding an automated returns portal, and enhancing online customer service contributed to a smoother user experience. The custom jewelry app and wholesale integration further boosted engagement and operational efficiency, positioning Gorjana for continued growth.
