Futureshift: Commerce-Entwicklung bei Shoptalk 2025

From March 17–20, we joined the world’s leading brands and commerce innovators in Las Vegas for Shoptalk 2025. As one of the industry’s biggest conferences, it was the perfect backdrop for conversations about what’s next in ecommerce.

We headed back to Sphere this year for our main event, Futureshift: The Commerce Evolution. This event was held in Sphere’s Expo 3 space, overlooking the atrium which houses various AI innovations.

We created an experience that celebrates the past, present, and future of commerce in a way that felt both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Our event featured a retro-inspired, custom-built TV installation placed inside one of the world’s most technologically advanced buildings.

With 250 leaders from the commerce industry and the Shopify ecosystem, the night kicked off with cocktails, canapés, and thought-provoking conversations.

Guests explored our interactive installation, which highlighted defining moments in the industry: from the launch of the world wide web and the invention of the iPhone, to the rise of Large-Language Model (LLM) driven AI personalization. Finally, guests stepped into the main bowl of Sphere for a screening of Postcard from Earth, Darren Aronofsky’s multi-sensory exploration of humanity’s relationship with technology and the planet.

Futureshift wasn’t just about looking ahead, it was about recognizing the shifts that got us to our present day. By blending nostalgia with innovation, we sparked conversations about what’s next for brands navigating an ever-evolving landscape.

A special thank you to our partners Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge, Loop, Nosto, Yotpo, Global-e, and Kustomer, who helped bring this experience to life.

But Shoptalk isn’t just about the big moments—it’s also about the in-between ones. Throughout the week, our original cabana experience, Poolside with Domaine, returned to Mandalay Bay Beach, offering a laid-back space for brands and partners to take a breather. Located just steps from the Convention Center, our West Lagoon Cabanas became the perfect place to step away from the conference floor, catch some fresh air, and connect with our team.

From Futureshift to poolside conversations, our time at Shoptalk 2025 was all about forging connections, exchanging ideas, and looking ahead. Because the future of commerce isn’t just something we predict, it’s something we build.
